Las Vegas is a 24/7 kinda city and it is no surprise that we have awesome breakfast places! There are places that have breakfast all day, cater to certain diets, and so many different types of breakfast cuisine. For the sake of my sanity (and yours), the establishments on this list are all locally owned, off the strip, and are not listed on my Brunch post. That’s not to say there aren’t other mind-blowing options (I’m looking at you Paris), but if you are setting out with the fam for a meal, these are the places to hit up.
Rise & Shine: A Steak & Egg Place
Summerlin/Southern Highlands
Rise & Shine is very upfront about its offerings – it’s right there in the name! With two locations, this eatery has been around since 2010 and has been owned by two generations of the same family. Not only do they offer steak and eggs, you can also find pancakes, French toast, and chilaquiles, along with fresh juice, smoothies, and coffee. They also cater to those who are gluten-free, vegetarian, and keto.
Griddlecakes
4 Locations
Griddlecakes (yes, it is all one word), loves that ever present breakfast fave, the pancake. While they do offer the traditional items, such as omelets, skillets, and waffles, the creative pancake concoctions are the real star. Choose from flavors such as lemon blueberry, oatmeal, red velvet, pumpkin spice, red velvet, and s’mores. Griddlecakes has been family owned and operated since 1991, with four locations throughout the Las Vegas valley.
CRAFTKitchen
Henderson
CRAFTKitchen has been around since 2015 and is a locally sourced neighborhood establishment located in Henderson. They offer the usual comfort food suspects but pride themselves on their house made pastries. These change daily, but word on the street is that the faves include cinnamon rolls, almond croissants, monkey bread, and scones. As a bonus, CRAFTKitchen has bottomless mimosas ALL DAY.
BabyStacks Café
6 Locations
BabyStacks Café has been around since 2010 and has a whopping six locations throughout the valley. They offer breakfast favorites, which includes 20 various flavors of pancakes made from batter that is prepared fresh each day – I’m so here for the Carrot Cake and the Hazelnut! For the smaller members of your fam, they also feature a kid’s menu.
The Bagel Café
Summerlin
The Bagel Café brings a bit of New York to Las Vegas, from those who know it best! Opened (and still family owned) by New Yorkers in 1996, this eatery offers more than just bagels. Offering breads, cakes, pies, pastries, and fruit platters that are all made fresh in-house. As a wonderful bonus, there are also deli items available to add that special splash to your breakfast.
Jamm’s Restaurant
South Las Vegas
Jamm’s is an unassuming establishment that serves up the comfort food faves that we all love – waffles, pancakes, French toast, and breakfast sandwiches. However, the real star here is an original creation, the Pot of Bread. It is both as basic as it sounds and absolutely legendary. Aside from the original, they have a flavor of the week, sweet flavors (chocolate chip, strawberry cream cheese) and savory (parmesan and artichoke). They have been around since 1997 and yes, they are family-owned!
