The real magic hits Las Vegas when the city starts to sparkle with its holiday glow and lucky for us, our favorite traditions aren’t on the Strip (okay fine, except for one iconic stop). For the most part, they’re right in our communities, our neighborhoods, and our family-friendly festive hotspots. Bundle up, grab your hot cocoa, and let’s sleigh our way through this season’s most beloved local holiday experiences!
Bellagio Conservatory
Show Dates: November 15, 2025 – January 3, 2026
If you’ve lived in Las Vegas longer than five minutes, you already know that the Bellagio Conservatory is basically our version of North Pole chic. And this year’s holiday display is nothing short of magical.
Guided by Elvie the Elf, the Bellagio Express chugs through a Christopher Radko-inspired winter wonderland, filled with nostalgic whimsy and glittering details. Every scene celebrates togetherness, joy, and that heart-tugging, cozy holiday feeling.
And let’s give a round of applause to the Conservatory’s amazing Horticulture and Engineering teams. These folks transform the 14,000-square-foot garden every season and they do it sustainably by replanting and repurposing as much living material as possible.
If you go, be sure to hit up the Peppermint Express Cart and treat yourself to freshly popped holiday popcorn, signature hot chocolate, and peppermint bark. The perfect way to warm up as you wander through dazzling displays.
Henderson Winterfest
December 4–5, 2025 • Water Street District
Ohhhh Henderson, you never disappoint! Winterfest is one of Southern Nevada’s brightest, happiest community traditions and it’s totally free.
Night One: Tree Lighting Ceremony + Drone Show
A magical drone show lights up the night sky, paired with the official city tree lighting. Performances include Ryan Shupe & The RubberBand and the incredible Coronado High School choir.
Night Two: Electric Light Parade
One of the most joyful parades in the valley! Floats, characters, music, lights, the whole shebang. Water Street turns into a holiday block party, complete with entertainment, food, décor, and community cheer. If you’re craving that Hallmark-movie-meets-Desert-Southwest vibe this is it.
Nutcracker Night Market at Tivoli Village
Thursdays: December 4, 11, & 18 (4–8 PM)
Tivoli Village feels like a European holiday postcard all year but in December? Pure magic!
On select Thursday’s in December, the Piazza transforms into the Nutcracker Night Market, filled with:
- Live entertainment
- Festive holiday lights
- One-of-a-kind crafts & artisan vendors
- Complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides (yes, please!)
It’s the perfect place for gift shopping, date nights, and photo ops worthy of your holiday cards.
Private Home Light Displays
Holiday lights aren’t just about attractions, some of the best displays come from families who decorate simply to bring joy to others.
One long-standing favorite is the Christmas Lights Lane in the Vincelli neighborhood. A private street with 24 homes that coordinate festive displays every night throughout December. Lights typically run from sunset until around 11pm.
Friendly Local Reminder: These displays are on private streets. Please enjoy them respectfully by keeping music low, driving slowly, and avoid blocking driveways or walking into yards.
